Discovery Session

See where the work is actually going

A discovery session is a 60-minute conversation about one real process in your business — how it actually runs, not how the org chart says it runs. Within 48 hours you get that process written back to you step by step, the three things we’d investigate first, and a straight account of what an hour of conversation can’t tell us.

60 minutes · Remote · No cost · Written summary in 48 hours

How it works

What happens after you submit

01 · The conversation

We talk through the process

A conversation with the people who actually do the work, recorded so nothing gets lost. No prep required on your side — you don’t need documentation, that’s the point.

02 · Your written summary

The process gets structured

Within 48 hours you get the process written back to you step by step, in your words — plus the three observations worth pursuing, and a specific list of what we couldn’t determine without watching the work.

03 · Recommend

You get a straight recommendation

One of three things: a focused assessment of one area, a full assessment across the operation, or our honest view that an assessment wouldn’t pay for itself right now. We’d rather tell you the third than sell you the second.

04 · Decide

You decide what’s next

The summary is yours regardless, with no obligation. If you go ahead, the paid assessment is where we measure the work rather than ask about it — that’s where the scored inventory and the build plan come from.

Tell us about the process

The more specific you can be about the process itself, the more useful our first conversation will be. Takes about five minutes.

Contact Info

Only if you'd rather we call than email.

Context Info

No problem — we'll send you the process-mapping primer instead off pushing for a call. Reply anytime when the timing's better.

The Process

We use what you share here to prepare for the conversation. We don’t sell or share it, and we won’t add you to a mailing list.

Who you’ll work with

The person who watches the work writes the plan

WOTIO is founder-led. Brian Wilhelm runs every discovery session personally. If an engagement follows, one consultant carries it end to end — the same person who watches your team work writes the plan and oversees the build. No handoffs mid-engagement. Capacity is deliberate: we take on work we can do properly rather than as much as will fit.
